Allison Melody: Podcast Greenlight – Marketing & Monetization Success Strategies

We Are Podcast isn’t only the first podcasting conference in the southern hemisphere. It’s not just a place for audio nerds and show-hosts to get together and share their love for podcasting. It’s an all-encompassing event for entrepreneurs, a place where like-minded individuals can gather to discuss issues facing business owners, marketers and others.

One of the issues we’ll cover, believe it or not, is food.

Allison Melody of the Food Heals podcast will be joining us this year, and we couldn’t be more excited. Having been called “Sex and the City for Food”, Food Heals gathers experts from nutrition, health and healing to show how food can make or break your health — all done in a format that’s engaging and fun.

Along with co-host Suzy Hardy, the Food Heals podcast tackles the idea of holistic living from all angles, not just food. Here’s what they have to say about their show:

“This sexy, savvy duo provides eco-friendly advice on a variety of issues- from picking the best non-toxic makeup and getting rid of wrinkles naturally to learning about the benefits of a plant-based diet and the healing power of nutrition.”

Besides being a top-notch podcast host, Allison is also the owner of Holistic Voice, an LA-based company whose mission is to empower and educate the population through media like internet videos, film, articles and podcasts. She’s also a respected filmmaker and owns her own film production company, Melody Productions. For more than eleven years, Allison has directed, produced and edited documentary films, PSA’s, commercials and viral videos on the topics of social justice, human rights and holistic health.

Allison has been a guest on Should I Start a Podcast, where she brought her incredibly energy to our audience and explained how diet is truly the foundation for a healthy and happy entrepreneur. (we all know how a late-night McDonald’s run feels when we’re crunching on deadlines).

When Allison was just 26, she lost both of her parents to long and difficult battles to cancer. Seeing her parents suffer while chemo wracked their bodies and lives inspired her to step out and research ways to better heal our bodies. Too often nowadays we take a ‘prescribe and cure’ rather than a ‘preventative’ approach to medicine, and Allison is looking to change that. Her parents’ suffering inspired her to take care of her own body and use the power of restorative medicine and natural healing remedies to keep herself happy and healthy.

Don’t miss Allison’s inspiring presentation at We Are Podcast 2018, October 18-20 in Brisbane.
