You’ve read a bit about James above, but it’s an impressive CV that deserves a closer look. In addition to being an award-winning copywriter, presenter, internet strategist, and now editor of Podnews and head of the media information site media.info, James has been at the forefront of radio technology and the podcast revolution since 2001. After joining the original Virgin Radio in London as Digital Media Director where he launched the world’s first streaming radio smartphone app in 2005, he later worked on the company’s podcast strategy before joining the BBC in 2007 where he worked on the BBC iPlayer for radio service that laid the foundations for the UK Radioplayer. And that’s just the short-form highlights reel. Phew! Now if that doesn’t convince you of his podcasting chops, I don’t know what will.
