For me personally I have always found this process to be a struggle. Going from extremely disciplined study to a creative fashion degree, trying to find my niche was rather difficult to begin with.
It’s a test to learn more about yourself. Personally I discovered that I’m certainly not an expert in practical sewing or designing. However I excelled in theory driven subjects.

To sum it all up, it speaks about how recurring patterns hold people back in their lives. I found this excerpt from the article extremely insightful,
“Instead of trying to change the unchangeable, how about thinking of the importance of these testing periods?.. You have to go through difficult times to actually figure out what you want to do. And ultimately who you want to become”.
