Lilli’s Lowdown – Growth and your virtual workspace

It’s been another great week on the Amplify blog and we are excited to bring you even more awesome content in the weeks to come! Here’s your summary of what was featured this week…

This week on Should I Start a Podcast, Michael Bromley spoke to Ronsley about lilli's lowdown - growth and virtual workspace3 essential stages for finding your creative voice.

For me personally I have always found this process to be a struggle. Going from extremely disciplined study to a creative fashion degree, trying to find my niche was rather difficult to begin with.

It’s a test to learn more about yourself. Personally I discovered that I’m certainly not an expert in practical sewing or designing. However I excelled in theory driven subjects.

In this article the three stages also have accompanying questions to ask yourself. If you’re struggling to find your creative voice yourself, perhaps you can find out what has been holding you back all along.

Lilli's lowdown - growth and virtual workspaceFollowing on from our recurring themes of personal growth and development, this weeks Bond Appetit article was no exception.

Chris Wildeboer joined Ronsley to speak about learning from failure and coming back stronger.

To sum it all up, it speaks about how recurring patterns hold people back in their lives. I found this excerpt from the article extremely insightful,

“Instead of trying to change the unchangeable, how about thinking of the importance of these testing periods?.. You have to go through difficult times to actually figure out what you want to do. And ultimately who you want to become”.
Lilli's Lowdown - growth and virtual workspaceBefore Amplify I didn’t know that you could have a job without going into an office

and working the same hours every single day. So often in my past jobs it was a battle to have selected days off and ask your team members to cover for you. But here it feels like you are your own boss.

In this weeks team post Tuesday, Pat Kack, our Get-It-Done Girl, analysis the increasing trend in digital nomads and virtual workspaces.

So wether you’re an employee or employer this article discusses the benefits of this business model from both sides.
