In the podcasting world, you’re bombarded with the importance of the “Call to Action”. A CTA is indeed important, but what about the call to engagement? Engagement can’t happen until you create meaningful relationships with your podcast audience.

Engagement is the number one reason why your listeners keep coming back show after show. It doesn’t matter what your podcast is about, if your audience trusts you, you’re an authority on that subject. So how do you get listeners to trust you? The answer is by creating and building meaningful relationships.

This episode features my appearance on Podcast Me Anything. The host of this great podcast, Mathew Passy, aka The Podcast Consultant, grills me on all things engagement. If you haven’t heard my story about how I got into the world of podcasting, this is a great introduction to the craziness that is my life.
