Carina O’Brien is a working mumma and a podcaster.
Host of the Working Mumma podcast, Carina is passionate about letting other parents know, especially mothers, that you can add more to your plate without feeling guilty. The Working Mumma site and the podcast are not her only gigs. She actually works full time in the corporate sector and isn’t quite ready to give that up yet. Carina started Working Mumma so that other moms had a place for support and know that they’re most certainly never alone.
In this episode, Carina breaks down how she’s able to work, be a mum and run a podcast all the same time. She’s got a little one at home, and another on the way, so organising, scheduling and prioritising is a must. The pandemic altered her plans a bit, as it did for so many of us, but it made her goals clearer in many ways. Carina speaks about her new plans for the future and what she’s doing to prepare her podcast for maternity leave.
