Sandy’s earliest and fondest memories around food

“When I was growing up, we were just kind of average. We never ate out and our big treat was every Friday night. My dad would buy fish and chips and we would eat it out of the newspaper. It was just so yummy. And if we were lucky, he would buy a block of chocolate. It was pretty small and we would probably get one or two squares each because there was five of us in the family. That’s why, to this day, I think that chocolate is my thing.”

Know more about Sandy Forster

Who would you love to have dinner with and where?

“To me, it would be Oprah. Not just because she’s a TV star, but when I saw her recently in Brisbane everything that came out of her mouth was so spiritual, metaphysical and all about the law of attraction. I just love the fact that she’s come from such tragic beginnings and that she’s self-made but continues to focus on empowering and supporting others and transforming other people’s lives. Yes, I’d love to spend some time with her.”

Last meal on the planet?

“It’s got to be a raw chocolate mousse pie; then I would make a mango smoothie with a couple of fresh mangoes off of my tree. I would probably put a frozen banana in it and blend it all up to make it creamy, luscious and delicious. And then, because it’s the last meal, I would have some Thai curry. This is the best and worst thing to eat, but I make the best Pavlova on the planet.”
